Course Name	Allen-Bradley PanelView Systems 550, 600, 1200, & 1400 Category C Course No. PL 361
Course Description	This thirty-two hour course allows participants to gain hands-on experience using Allen-Bradley PanelView terminals and PanelBuilder software. Course emphasis is on the PLC and PanelView system in an integrated process environment. Troubleshooting includes: system hardware, messages, alarms and fault detection techniques.
Who Should Attend	Persons engaged in the installation, programming and maintenance of Allen-Bradley PanelView Systems.
Prerequisites	Participants must have successfully completed Maintenance & Troubleshooting of the Allen-Bradley PLC-5 Level One (PL 251), Maintenance & Troubleshooting of the Allen-Bradley SLC-500 Level One (PL 256) training or have equivalent knowledge. Also, the participant must be familiar with either Windows 3.1 or Windows 95. This is NOT an entry level training program.

Format	Hands-on Workshop. One lab station for every two participants.
Learning Objectives	Participants will learn to: Identify and interconnect components of a PanelView system Identify steps in Windows software leading to PLC and PanelView operating systems Enter, interpret and edit PanelView programs utilizing PanelBuilder software Troubleshoot hardware, communications and software faults using indicators, message displays and a personal computer
