Course Description

This thirty-six hour, customized, hands-on training covers the advanced programming capabilities of the Allen-Bradley PLC-3 family of programmable controllers.

Prerequisites

Maintenance & Troubleshooting of the Allen-Bradley PLC-3 Level One (PL 231) or equivalent knowledge.

Format

Hands-on Workshop. One lab station for every two participants. Software in this course can be selected from the following: Allen-Bradley 6200 Series, ICOM AI Series or T-4 Industrial Terminals.

Learning Objectives

Participants will learn to:

Troubleshoot programs utilizing available file instructions of the PLC-3 family

Enter and edit programs using the IBM compatible terminal

Utilize the diagnostic capabilities of the PLC-3 family to aid in systems troubleshooting

Troubleshoot equipment controlled by a PLC-3 using an industrial terminal
