Course Description This twenty-four hour course teaches participants how to use and troubleshoot RSLogix 5 software for the Allen-Bradley PLC-5.

Who Should Attend Maintenance electricians and electronic technicians who are responsible for troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCÕs

Prerequisites Participants must be well versed in Allen-Bradley PLC-5 equipment features, comfortable with DOS based Allen-Bradley 6200 or ICOM AI series software and be very familiar with Windows 3.1 or Windows 95 software.

Format Intensive Hands-on Workshop. One lab station for every two participants.

Learning Objectives Participants will learn to:

  • Recognize the powerful instruction format of RSLogix 5

  • Utilize a PC to activate their Windows based RSLogix software

  • Search to a specific address

  • Insert, delete or alter instructions

  • Save, store or print program modifications

  • Develop fundamental ladder logic circuits

  • Enter and alter documentation
