Course Description	This sixteen hour, hands-on course will enable participants to learn to identify electrical control components, interpret ladder logic diagrams, troubleshoot control circuits and understand electrical terms and symbols.
Who Should Attend	Plant maintenance personnel and other technicians who need to broaden their understanding of industrial control fundamentals.

Format	Hands-on Workshop. One lab station for every two participants.
Learning Objectives	Participants will learn to: Identify electrical control components Interpret ladder logic diagrams Demonstrate an understanding of electrical terms and symbols Troubleshoot control circuits Design simple PLC circuits Identify the components of a programmable controller (system block diagram) Demonstrate an understanding of basic instructions Demonstrate an understanding of how to communicate with other PLC hardware
